The Portland Streetcar Citizens' Advisory Committee

The Citizens' Advisory Committee (CAC) has been a driving force in Portland Streetcar planning since the project was first proposed in 1989. John Carroll, our previous retiring chair and Chris Smith our recently-retired chair and other CAC members have celebrated over fifteen (15) years as members of this active and effective group.

The CAC meets monthly to review and offer its advice on all significant project planning, design and operation issues. The CAC has had and continues to have a significant role in shaping the Streetcar Project.
