Free Rides for the Winter Light Festival

Portland Streetcar is once again a proud sponsor of the Portland Winter Light Festival, offering free rides after 5pm each night of the festival, which runs February 7-15. Portlanders can ride electric transit to several of the anchor sites and central city art installations, in addition to the many other participating events and exhibits across the community.
The Portland Winter Light Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary of illuminating the grayest time of year in Portland with creativity, community and light. Attendees can access multiple central city anchor sites via Portland Streetcar to immerse themselves in some of the festival's most substantial wonders.
In addition to celebrating with free rides, multiple streetcars are sporting LED lighting along the exterior top of the vehicle, allowing us to participate as a moving lighted installation throughout the festival.
