Portland Marathon Hits The Streets Sunday, October 4

The Portland Marathon will hit the streets Sunday morning, October 4, bringing thousands of runners to the central city--and a few things for streetcar riders to know.

• The route will cross the Broadway Bridge, meaning A and B Loop service will not begin until the race has cleared the bridge. Marathon organizers expect this to occur by about 9:30am.
• NS Line service will run a regular Sunday schedule but will require a few delays at specific points where the marathon course crosses streetcar tracks.
• Additional staff will be on site to help keep streetcars moving and runners safe. Please be patient while staff work to balance the needs of the event with streetcar service.
